Just back home from a quick overnighter to Penticton, and had the very good fortune to have booked the night at KeriGlen. All the superlatives about the accommodations and food are more than deserved but the real highlight was the gracious and engaging presence of Elsie, who made us feel, after 5 minutes of conversation, like good friends whom she had known for years. Extraordinary. Cannot wait to return.

- Pat & Kieran, from Gibsons, B.C. 10 July 2014

What an amazing experience we had staying at the KeriGlen , from the friendly greeting on arrival to our cheery farewell. Elise took great care of us, making us feel very welcome. (her husband was away at the time ) We enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the enormous veranda over looking the golf course and the lake, what an amazing view! I would most certainly recommend KeriGlen to anyone!!!

- Jill Carter, from Vancouver Island Canada 28 August 2013

This was our first time staying at a bed & breakfast...what a great experience..beautiful house with an amazing patio overlooking the lake and golf course...bed was very comfortable and Elsie and Fred are amazing hosts

- pat reilander, from surrey, b.c. 27 August 2013

This is an exceptional bed and breakfast facility. The bedrooms and en-suites are amazing but what made it for us was the enormous terrace with sun loungers, hot tub, large private eating area and fantastic views of the lake (and golf course - which we wish we had time to play). However it was Elsie who finished off this special visit. She was a wonderful host, friendly yet professional, and she provided us with the most lovely individual breakfast ever! We would recommend this facility to anyone and truly hope that we can return one day!

- Rachel Holden, from United Kingdom 23 August 2013

KeriGlen Lake View B&B was the perfect place for our staff retreat. We were kindly given the use of the house and so enjoyed the wonderfully comfortable setting both inside and outside on the fabulous deck with the great lake and golf course views. Elsie prepared healthy and delicious meals and even spoiled us with fresh muffins for our meetings. The hot tub at night was a relaxing treat. Fred and Elsie were also great wine tour guides and shared their favorite spots with us on the Naramata Bench and in Summerland. Fred and Elsie's warm hospitality made it a weekend to remember. We will be back!

- Anonymous, 8 May 2013

This is a fantastic bed & breakfast. The owners are extremely friendly and hospitable, not to mention amazing cooks! The view and accommodations are top notch. Highly recommended!! We would definitely stay here again.

- gramity, from Edmonton, AB 12 September 2012

We stayed at the KeriGlen B&B for 3 days during our honeymoon in August. Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The room was huge and so comfortable, with anything we needed. Elsie was an amazing host, always checking on us to see if we needed anything, and the food she prepares is incredible! She recommended the best vineyards for us to visit, and even drove us out to float on the river. We can't say enough about how special staying here made our honeymoon.

- Doug and Daniella, from Edmonton, Alberta 28 August 2012

Fantastic,Fantastic, Fantastic!! We cannot say enough about this B&B. A beautiful view, quiet and peaceful location, wonderful rooms, and fantastic breakfasts. Our hosts, Elsie and Fred, were amazing.W definately look forward to our next visit!

- very satisfied guest, from Edmonton 22 August 2012

AMAZING!!! The best B & B we have ever stayed at! Elsie's hospitality and warm and caring personality were top notch! She is the greatest!! We came as strangers and defiantly left as friends---we felt like one of the family. She treated us as she would her kids! We even had a car breakdown and she went out of her way to help us. We could not have picked a better place to stay.

- Erin and Thomas Hanna, from Regina, SK 20 July 2012

I stayed at KeriGlen Lakeview for a week in March. It was a delightful week. Elsie pampers with her excellent meals and homemade preserves. No way to watch your waistline while here. The house is modern, clean and comfortable. The view is superb. One could never tire of the view. The location is peaceful. The beds are comfortable and the bed linens are luxurious. I am returning to keriGlen in less than 2 months to enjoy a month of vacation.

- Linda K, from Burnaby BC 16 March 2012

We stayed at Keriglen for 4 nights, and it was not long enough! Fred and Elsie were the perfect host and hostess, making sure that we had everything that we could possibly need. Elsie made the most amazing breakfasts (home made jams, salsas, etc!). You could not buy this kind of breakfast in most restaurants - top quality! The over 1200 square foot patio was definitely a highlight. Full outdoor kitchen, dining area, lounging chairs, patio table and raised fire pit were all thoroughly enjoyed! Watching the sunset while wrapped in a blanket on the patio was one of our favourite things! The room: bed, linens, decor - all AMAZING! Their warmth and love of what they do shine though everything in their home. We will definitely be back as soon as possible!

- Crystal & Jason, from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada 9 July 2011

Just stayed at KeriGlen last week and can not say enough about the comforts of home provided by Elsie and Fred. I was travelling with my mother whom felt very safe and well cared for. Highly recommend. P.S. Go hungry.

- Elaine, from Sunshine Coast 28 June 2011

Fred and Elsie were awesome to stay with and made us feel right at home! They were both fun and enthusiastic! The food was amazing and went above and beyond our expectations and the service was spectacular. We loved our rooms and the location of the B&B was perfect for all our activities while staying there. Would definitely recommend this B&B to everyone!

- Stephen and Liz, from Edmonton, Canada 12 June 2011

We like using B&B's when we travel and are rarely disappointed. We tend to rate most as good to very good. KeriGlen is the best we have ever stayed at. On every measure, (location, view, facilities, food, comfort level etc.) it was outstanding. However, what makes KeriGlen truly a cut above the rest, is the attitude of Elsie and Fred. They simply love what they do and they want you, as their guests, to love the time you spend with them. It is impossible not to!

- Colin and Barb Baker, from Adelaide, South Australia 9 June 2011

Such a long list of kudos. We enjoyed the massive, beautifull new deck and all it,s trimmings{hot tub, music, view, wine}and esp.Elsie and Freds company. We will reminice fr.time to time about the geat OK. summer and our stay here.Instantly warms the heart.

- Darrell & Cathy, from Red Deer,AB 8 January 2011

What a view of the lake and Penticton! Hard to imagine but the view was surpassed by Elsie and Peach's warm hospitality. (Fred was home on the range.) The breakfasts were abundant, beautifully presented, and delicious. The room was lovely... I felt at home at KeriGlen B&B. Can't wait until my next visit.

- Donna, from Vancouver 20 October 2010

My husband, I and our 16 month old have spent 2 nights at KeriGlen B&B. We just had a chance to meet Elsie only and can say, she's an amazing host. With her cooking and caring for us and especially our son made us feel like we were visiting a family. The room was very comfortable and views of the lake were spectacular. We would definitely recommend staying at Elsie and Fred's B&B.

- Regina, from Richmond, Canada 20 September 2010

I planned a 2 night stay at KeriGlen and ended up staying 3 nights. Not only are Fred and Elsie welcoming and hospital, but the food and view can rival a 5 star plus hotel. It was a great get away and I highly recommend Keriglen.

- Renate, from Surrey, B.C. 8 September 2010

We stayed at the KeriGlen over the August long weekend. Elsie and Fred are truly the most fantastic hosts you could ever ask for at a B & B. So welcoming! Elsie's breakfasts are to die for. Try the crepes- they are delicious! We are looking forward to visiting again next year!

- Kathleen & Matt, from Victoria, BC 4 August 2010

Staying at the KeriGlen Lakeview B & B is an experience everyone should have. Breakfasts are exceptional, Fred & Elsie are fantastic hosts and my entire stay was extremely enjoyable. If you want to be pampered, relaxed and totally spoiled you have found the right place. I will be back!

- Chris, from Leduc, Alberta 23 July 2010

My sister and I recently stayed for 4 days at KeriGlen Lakeview Bed & Breakfast and felt Elsie and Fred are the best B&B hosts. We were pampered and treated very royally. Each room is clean and very comfortable. I enjoyed the night time view of Penticton's lights from the hot tub. We tasted and enjoyed all of Elsie's breakfast choices. It was hard to pick my favourite but I'd say the cheese blintz's were the top winners. Yum, Yum!! Looking forward to our next visit and watching Elsie prepare our breakfast in the new outdoor kitchen.

- Annley Wilson, from Calgary, Alberta, Canada 20 April 2010

My husband and I were visiting the Penticton and South Okanagan area to check out our options for working and living there.

We stayed at the KeriGlen and found it the perfect relaxing retreat after long days of travel and business.

Elsie and Fred were the perfect hosts and super helpful with lots of local information that we appreciated.

We now live in the area and recommend our friends, family and clients stay at the KeriGlen.

- Melissa Voth McHugh, from Penticton BC 2 November 2009

It's all been said before, but this really is the bed and breakfast from heaven! We still talk about an 'Elsie Breakfast,' and look forward to our next visit. Our room was beautiful and well appointed, we were made to feel entirely at home and given the freedom of the house. The views from the lounge and dining rooms were stunning, and the outside deck a real luxury!

- Sue and Trevor Jewsbury, from Canterbury, Kent, UK 19 October 2009

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at KeriGlen. Elsie and Fred are the perfect hosts and made us feel very welcome. Elsie's breakfasts are superb. I'll definitely recommend KeriGlen to my friends.

- Nila, from Edmonton 5 October 2009

Lovely, lovely, lovely ! One of the best B&B's we've been to in our extensive travels. Elsie and Fred are superior hosts and go above and beyond for their guests. Breakfasts were absolutely divine and the room was perfection.

- Tammy, from Edmonton, Canada 17 September 2009

Wow, what an experience! My family and I stayed a week at KeriGlen Lakeview Bed and Breakfast while in town for Ironman Canada in late August. Our experience was above and beyond what we could have ever expected. Elsie and Fred welcomed us into their home as family and made sure our every need was met. In the days leading up to the Ironman, Elsie offered to prepare the meals I needed to get ready for the race, which were all wonderful. They were a huge blessing and really made it a once in a lifetime experience for the entire family. The breakfasts are absolutely delicious, and there support and hospitality is something I will never forget. Thank you Elsie and Fred!

- Tiffany, from Texas 16 September 2009

- Shannon and George Lomas, from Lethbridge , Alta 11 August 2009

My husband and I, my two sisters and their husbands stayed at KeriGlen while attending a family reunion. Elsie and Fred's hospitality went beyond what we would've expected. Elsie is an amazing cook. The location is beautiful as well as the bed and breakfast itself. We had so much fun. It was like staying with friends. Next time we're in Penticton we know where we'll be staying.

- Laurie McKean, from Lethbridge, Alberta 10 August 2009

We stayed at KeriGlen for 2 nights recently and could not have had superior hospitality anywhere. Elsie really looked after us,the views from the deck, where we enjoyed our steak supper, were fantastic, overlooking the town and golf club.Elsie also gave us lots of local information which made our stay in Penticton even more enjoyable. Thanks,Elsie for your hospitality,it was a real treat.

- Eric And Annette Gemmell, from England 20 July 2009

I really enjoyed my stay at Keriview Glen Bed and Breakfast. I was in the Penticton area on business, and wanted an alternative to staying in a motel/hotel room for the entire week. Elsie made me feel very welcome and comfortable, without fussing. The luxurious accommodation, wireless internet access, interesting conversation, the expansive lake views and deck all made for a great experience, not to mention the wonderful meals Elsie prepared. A big thumbs up from me!

- Roberta, from Napa, California & Cromwell, New Zealand 21 June 2009

My husband and I recently (June 2009) had the pleasure of staying at KeriGlen B&B for a couple of nights. What a delight! Elsie could not have welcomed us more warmly. Our room was spotless and very comfortably appointed. The view from the deck overlooking Lake Okanagan was tremendous. Our breakfasts were absolutely delicious and way too filling! In short, we would highly recommend it and look forward to a return visit.

- Paula and Jeff, from Ottawa 12 June 2009

My experience staying at KeriGlen Lakeview was a great one. I never thought that I would enjoy staying at a bed & breakfast. But Elsie & Fred have changed that, the hospitality, cooking and information about the area was great. You will never find a better place. The views from the deck are fabulous, the rooms couldn't get more comfy, and the company couldn't be more friendly. I was here for a quilting retreat and Elsie is very knowledgeable. Being 28 years old I have never even thought of staying at a bed & breakfast...my views have now changed...I will be back.

- Cindy Carstairs, from Edmonton, Alberta 14 May 2009

5 star hospitality!!! Very clean, comfortable and modern accommodations. Elsie is a wonderful person, host and cook. Sure was fun staying at KeriGlen Lakeview. Close to town but far enough for a great view from the spacious deck. Thank you Elsie for your hospitality and look forward to meeting again.

- William & Janet, from (Delta)Vancouver 3 May 2009

I just spent a wonderful 4 days at a quilting retreat at KeriGlen B&B. It was a wonderful experience. The hospitality that Elsie showed was fantastic. She prepared amazing meals, the rooms were gorgeous and the view spectacular. It was definately an experience that I hope to do again.

- Lorna, from Alberta 9 April 2009

We can't say enough great things about KeriGlen! Fred and Elsie were such wonderful hosts, who went above and beyond to ensure we had not only a great stay, but also a great time in the Okanagan. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and when you stay there you truly feel like family. Try the waffles!

- Eve and Dave, from Vancouver, BC 23 January 2009

This is a fantastic B&B! Elsie and Fred are wonderful hosts. Elsie is a fantastic cook, as Fred will tell you. It is true. This is the perfect place to come for a break from city life. It's also close enough to the city centre to go to the lake, shop, etc. The room/house is comfortable and clean. The jacuzzi is so relaxing! We enjoyed a little hike up the the hill behind the house. The view is breath-taking! Visited some Naramata wineries one day and picked peaches. We'd come again anytime!

- Anonymous, from Vancouver, Canada 8 December 2008

With all the B&B's in Penticton, we felt most fortunate to choose KeriGlen Lakeview! From the moment Peaches greeted us in the yard and Elsie stepped into our lives at the door, we knew we were at a special place. Thanks again for the concern (and use of your phone!) as we tried to reach family affected by hurricane Ike back in TX. All the special touches to make the perfect B&B!!

- Becky & Will, from Nacogdoches, TX 27 September 2008

We've stayed at B&Bs all the way from Nova Scotia to Maui, and this one is definitely the best to date. Elsie is such a wonderful hostess and her B&B is a real gem! Our room was very comfortable and the attention to detail really made us feel at home during our stay. Elsie greeted us every morning with her wonderful smile and impeccable breakfasts! We greatly enjoyed our long morning talks at the breakfast table...it was like visiting a friend you had known for years. Did we mention the breathtaking views from the deck? We greatly appreciated all her tips for visiting local shops and wineries. Definitely a top rated B&B that we look forward to staying at again & again in the future! Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable Elsie!

- Nicole, Georgette & Isabella, from Calgary 21 September 2008

What a wonderful B&B - very warm and a welcome feel to the place; spectacular view of the lake and golf course. I had a great time and Elsie was so friendly. It was obvious that she enjoys running the B&B. Her apple and marmalade jam is really great on toast. Thanks for the wonderful stay, Elsie!

- Brigitte (& Markus), from Vancouver, Canada 17 September 2008

Keri Glen is your home away from home. Elsie welcomed us as if we were family and provided everything we needed before we even asked for it. Her breakfasts are 5 stars and she provided snacks and appetizers every evening as we sat around her outdoor firepit on the deck overlooking the lake. Outstanding experience! We have already made reservations for next year. Claudia and John, Spokane, WA

- Claudia Campbell, from Spokane, WA 5 September 2008

We call ourselves B&B professionals because we have travelled that way for years. Fred & Elsie's place is ranked in the top. They made us feel welcome and comfortable from the get go. The meals are delicious and are equivalent to 2 meals. The view from their deck is beautiful and restful day and night. We would recommend it to everyone and will be returning to this B&B. Oh, and if you are a quilter you are in for a special treat.

- Brian & Diane Williams Aug 15/16 2008, from Coquitlam, Canada 22 August 2008

We had a great time. Elsie and Fred make everyone feel like they are part of the family. Meals are unbelievable and so is the view from the deck. The spa bathroom is a real jewel. The trip down the canal on inflatables with our hosts was a highlight. We would highly recommend this B&B to everyone.

- Harvey and Erika Hiob, from Edmonton, Alberta 18 August 2008

What a great time! Fred and Elsie and wonderful hosts, their house is a comfortable and restful place, the view is fantastic, and Elsie's breakfasts are culinary masterpieces.

We've come away rested and refreshed, and we've promised each other to make this a 'must stay' on our next Penticton trip.

- Dave and Shirley Jorgensen, from Leduc, Alberta, Canada 17 August 2008

By far the best B&B we've been to! Amazing view (the photos don't give it justice), heavenly bed, great food, extremely clean and quiet. We received attention to the smallest detail - all the way to beach towels, inflatables and a drive to town.

Elsie and Fred were an enjoyable company and great hosts. They certainly made our trip wonderful! Thank you!

- ev and iva, from edmonton, alberta 8 August 2008

Last week we sat on the deck with the owners of this wonderful B&B.....what an amazing sight to see......the Okanagon Valley in all its splendor, flanked by Okanagon Lake at one end and Skaha Lake at the other. The golf course is right in front of us, and Fred, the owner, may even be talked into a quick game. At night the view is even more astonishing and you sit in the plush chairs, gaze at the stars and watch the reflections play on the water. Fred and Elsie can be talked into joining you, and as you sit around the fire, they will share their extensive knowledge of the area.

Elsie is an amazing chef......what a treat to enjoy the fabulous breakfasts (you certainly don't need lunch after one of her omlettes and fruit salad). It was a culinery delight to enjoy their steak supper with all the trimmings on the deck....The food is exceptional.

Absolutly could not of enjoyed our stay more. Will highly reccommend this jewel. Thanks again Fred and Elsie, you were wonderul hosts.......we difinitly feel like family.

- Ron and Gail, from Edmonton 7 August 2008

This B&B is by far the second best I have ever been to and I have been to a lot of B&B in the last 10 year for a new B&B it was amazing. Elsie and Fred were wonderful hosts to my family. The view is to die for, and the food was amazing. I reccomed this B&B to everyone no need to look at anymore this is the one that you will want to keep coming back to. Elsie and Fred can't say enough about them they were the best hosts. We will be coming back. We give them 10 out of 10.

- Eric and Tina McMurray, from Calgary 8 July 2008

Our stay was an eleven on a scale to ten. Everything went so well it is hard to know where to start but the home is lovely with a wonderful view and in a quiet location. Fred and Elsie treat you like friends except when we go to friends for a weekend we help cook! Their efforts were over and above any reasonable expectations and truly made our weekend so much more enjoyable. They say on their information page "Arrive as a guest, leave as a friend, return as family." and it would seem so true.

- Mike and Linda McKone, from West Vancouver 8 July 2008

I highly reccomend this bed and breakfast! It is rates top in our experiences. If you are looking for delux accomodations, warm hospitality and an amazing view, your search is over. Our weekend with Elsie and Fred was so relaxing, we will return many times. As a quilter, I was delighted to find a kindred spirit in Elsie, who is a very accomplished and willing to share her secrets. I found it a treat on a rainy eveing to curl up on the couch under a homemade quilt and watching the lights of Penticton twinkling on the lake.

- Fred and Linda Knoppers, from Leduc, Alberta 8 June 2008

Oh my Gosh! What amazing hosts! What an amazing B&B! I had the privelege of being a guest for one week in April with Fred and Elsie. I have gone to many bed and breakfasts from British Columbia to Nova Scotia and to several in the U.S. My stay at Keri Glen was by far one of the best B&B experiences I have had. Not only did the hosts go above and beyond in making the stay wonderful by serving amazing meals and creating great accomodations, the view is beyond compare. I loved walking on the trail that ran in front of their house and watching the horses, partridges, pheasants, and other wild life that find this area their home. The view of the lake and golf course is spectacular. I can't say enough good things about this B&B. I will come back to visit such wonderful hosts.
